The Narwhals

Hello! We are The Narwhals and we are in Year 2. Our topics this year include The Great Fire of London, Jurassic World and Ocean Explorers. We use our school core values and British Values to help us be the best we can be. We hope you enjoy looking at the photographs of our learning. Thank you for visiting our page!

Dinosaurs have been our topic for term 2 and we have had a roooaaaarsome time learning about them.
We made our own dinosaur eggs and even made the fossilised dung of a herbivore! We have loved reading stories about dinosaurs and finding out facts in non-fiction books. We have also been authors and written our own stories as well as poems, letters and factual information. In maths, we have been using money and learning about multiplication. We created arrays in the orchard to help us understand that multiplication is repeated addition. We used percussion instruments to accompany a song and we were impressed by how professional we sounded!
